5 Different Dementia Types

Many dementia types are reversible when treated quickly. They might be cured partially or completely with fast and effective treatment. There's also many dementia types that irreversible as with the situation with Alzheimer's disease. This is a listing of a few of the dementia types:

4. Lewy-body Dementia- This dementia type is brought on by abnormal protein deposits called Lewy bodies that destroy cells with time. The physical symptoms mimic the ones from Parkinsons; tremors, and stiffness, in addition to dementia properties near to those who work in Alzheimer's patients. However, Lewy body dementia has a tendency to affect thinking, attention, and concentration instead of language and memory. There isn't any known cure at the moment, Alzheimer's drugs have been proven to be beneficial for curbing symptoms with Lewy body patients.

5. Pick Disease- Rare disorder that damages cells in the frontotemporal local from the brain. The most popular traits are behavior and personality changes preceding loss of memory and language problems.
